Premium 55kg Granite Base
Our premium 55kg round granite base accommodates parasols with a 38mm – 48m m central pole. It comes with sturdy 4 coaster wheels with a brakes. Plus comes with a handle so you can wheel it around easily. Ideal if you need to move the base occasionally.
We hold UK stock and can deliver on a Next Day basis. For easy transportation, the base comes in a box for self-assembly. If you wanted the parasol base assembled we do offer this as a service, please ask for costs for this. Please note as these are heavy they have to be delivered on a pallet.
As a rough guide, we suggest this weighted parasol base is ideal for parasols around 2.5m. This is of course dependent on the location and position of the parasol e.g. an exposed location. Also whether the printed parasol is used within a table.
You should choice the base appropriate to the size of the parasol, the position of the parasol (free standing / with table etc) and the location (exposed / sheltered etc).
Always fully secure your parasol with a heavy base. Each of our parasols, have a spec sheet that you can download. On page 2 you will find a table that lists what bases are compatible with your parasol. This indicates the weight of what you need. Please take into consideration the location in which you place you parasol, any area that is exposed please ensure you go for the heavier weight options.
Please be aware that our parasols are designed to be used in conjunction with a base through a table. Whilst they don’t have to be used in this way, with the British weather we cannot offer a guarantee should they be used free standing or in any other way.
No, we can supply bases to any customer. Parasols are not a pre requisite!
Water filled bases can be sent through the courier network. We use DX or DHL to deliver. Any of our other bases need to be palletised due to their weight. We will palletise the bases – whether it is one or more – and deliver via Palletways.
