Responsible Material Choices
We prioritise materials that are durable, recyclable and responsibly sourced, this is core to every decision we make when sourcing our materials.
✔ Fabrics
- As standard, all of parasol canopies are made from rPET – made from recycled PET bottles. Not only does this help reduce plastic waste in landfills, but the production process also uses 90% less water, 80% less energy, and 65% less COâ‚‚, making it an eco-friendly option. Each kilogram of rPET prevents 60 water bottles from entering landfills
- We use ISO 6-7 Light & Colour Fastness (ISO 105. B02) ink to print our parasol canopies.  We are the only company to use this brand new technology in the UK.  This prevents fading for at least 2 seasons and therefore prolongs the lifespan of your parasol
- Our fabrics are UV 50+ prolonging their wear
- Designed to resist fading, mould and deterioration
- All of our parasols are fitted with our MaxiLife ‘EASY CHANGE’ Canopy system.  Whether your printed canopy fades, becomes soiled, or your branding changes, the EASY CHANGE system lets you purchase a new canopy and replace the old one.  An instant parasol refresh in just minutes.
- All of the above provide a longer fabric life = fewer replacements and reduced material waste
✔ Frames
- As standard, all of our wood parasols are from fully sustainable sources.  All of the timber used comes from forests managed in a way that protects the environment, supports local communities, and ensures the forest can regenerate for the future
- Our wooden parasols also come with our MaxiLife ‘EASY CHANGE’ Rib system allowing you to replace any of the ribs if they become worn or damaged over time.
- Our aluminium framed parasols are of high-quality aluminium with long life expectancy and are fully recyclable at end of life.  Plus they are powder-coated finishes for corrosion resistance, reducing premature failure.
- We invest heavily in premium components that offer the best strength so that our parasols have excellent longevity. You will find features such as stainless steel rib connectors on all of our wood parasols; in-line ribs on our Strong Aluminium Parasols for ultra strength and upgraded pulley and runner systems on our Premium Beech FSC Wood Parasols.
- As a company we only produce in premium high quality frames that are built to last, again preventing unnecessary landfill

- Re-canopying existing frames using our Maxi EASY CHANGE canopy system which allows our clients to order new canopies and replace them in a matter of minutes
- Replacing broken ribs using our Maxi EASY CHANGE Rib system
- Long-term maintenance advice to extend usable life

Plant a Tree with Every Order
To continue our ethos of supporting and protecting our planet, we also work with Ecologi to plant a tree with every order we receive.
Healthy trees sequester CO2, making them climate champions from the moment they’re planted. They also help to restore healthy ecosystems, sequestering and storing even more carbon in soils and plant biomass, as well as boosting biodiversity.
Reforestation projects provide co-benefits for local people which can promote employment, gender equality, new income streams, more diverse food sources to support a healthier diet, and improved community facilities.
We only supports responsible tree planting. This means supporting community-led projects where ecologically appropriate species are planted at the right place and time, and where trees are guarded from natural and man-made threats.
