Responsibly-sourced Wood
All of our wood parasols are made from certified sustainable wood sources . What does this actually mean? The wood we use is sourced from forests that are managed in a way that maintains their biodiversity, productivity, and ecological processes. This certification ensures that the wood is harvested responsibly, supporting environmental health and social equity. This is to ensure thriving forests for all, forever.
ECO Canopies
All of our printed parasols and corporate umbrellas can feature an ECO canopy made from recycled PET fabric. This innovative material is crafted from 100% recycled PET bottles, effectively diverting single-use plastics from landfills.
PET
PET, or polyethylene terephthalate, is traditionally made from crude oil and natural gas, which are extracted and processed into a molten liquid, then molded into solid plastic containers. Unfortunately, many of these containers end up as waste. We address this issue by collecting used PET bottles, processing and heating them, and spinning them into yarn for our ECO canopies. This not only reduces plastic waste but also promotes sustainability in our products.
Not only are the canopies fully made from recycled plastic but the production process versus virgin polyester uses 90% less water, 80% less energy and 65% less COâ‚‚. Plus 1kg of rPET ensures 60 wasted water bottles are out of landfill. rPET yarns offer the same performance durability and high strength as virgin polyester.
Why is rPET so Beneficial?
There are two basic reasons why buying a product using rPET as opposed to virgin polyester is beneficial to the environment:
- Energy needed to make the rPET is less than that needed to make the virgin polyester in the first place, so we save energy.
- We’re keeping bottles and other plastics out of the landfills.
rPET for Quality
For our parasols, our ECO canopies for our commercial parasols are at a premium weight of 220gsm and are both UV 50+ and water resistant: spray test: 3 ± 1 EN ISO 4920; resistance to water penetration: ≥30 hPa water pressure rise rate 60 cmH2O/min EN 20811, fabric weight 222 ± 10 g/m².
For our umbrellas, we use 100% PET fabric 220T which is fully water proof.

We offer our ECO Canopy label free of charge to be sewn internally (or externally if you should wish!) within any custom umbrella or personalised parasol. These are a great way of communicating your commitment to the planet and can share this message to all that use the product.
Your Branded Parasols & Printed Umbrellas With ECO Delivery
We can help make your delivery experience even more environmentally-friendly as we now offer a plastic free delivery as standard. We have cut all plastic pallet wrap from our warehouse and now use eco strapping to reduce the plastic involved in your delivery.
Our customers also have the opportunity to choose our Delivery Carbon-off Setting option when ordering. This involves using DHL’s service GoGreen Plus program which reduces (inset) greenhouse emissions from air transport through the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). Greenhouse gas emissions and the related reductions are tracked and verified by an external partner according to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol – Product Life Cycle Accounting and Reporting Standard.
We also invest in Carbon-off Setting through our provider Ecologi so that you have a completely clear conscience when ordering your branded umbrellas or printed parasols.  Currently we have invested in over 10 tonnes of avoided CO2
